To Armenia and Azerbaijan:
"To be America's enemy is dangerous but to be America's friend is fatal. " Henry Kissinger (Depopulation Expert)
Armenia's break with the CSTO and creation of the US-backed Zangezur Corridor raises alarm in Russia and Iran. This strategy aims to isolate Russia from the Baltics, Caspian, and Caucasus, while disrupting the Iran-Russia corridor and China-Iran rail link.
Armenia’s decision to withdraw from the Russian-led Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) by early 2026 marks a historic turning point in the geopolitics of the South Caucasus. Once a close ally of Moscow, Armenia is now moving swiftly toward the West, with recent reports indicating that the United States has promised NATO membership to both Armenia and Azerbaijan. This shift, if realized, would dramatically alter the strategic balance in a region traditionally dominated by Russia and closely watched by Iran.
Adding to these concerns is Armenia’s agreement to open a new 43.5-kilometer trade corridor across its territory, now officially named the “Trump Road, International Peace and Prosperity.” According to Axios, the route, also known as the Zangezur Corridor, will fall under American control. The United States is expected to earn billions annually through the commercial use of this pathway, which will link Azerbaijan to its exclave of Nakhchivan and offer NATO a strategic gateway toward the Caspian Sea.
The arrival of US troops in Armenia, reportedly within the next 48 hours, deepens these anxieties. Although officially framed as a military exercise, both Moscow and Tehran view this deployment as the beginning of a more permanent Western presence in the region. The timing of these developments suggests a coordinated and long-term strategy by Washington to expand its influence in the South Caucasus.
For Russia, this is not only a diplomatic loss but a security challenge. Armenia’s exit from the CSTO undermines the cohesion of the alliance and weakens Moscow’s hold on its southern frontier. The placement of a NATO-aligned corridor so close to Russian territory also threatens Russia’s long-standing access routes and military logistics.
For Iran, the implications are no less serious. Tehran has consistently opposed any new transit routes that bypass its territory, especially those facilitated by Western powers. The prospect of an American-controlled corridor running just north of its border is deeply unsettling to Iranian leadership, both from an economic and military standpoint.
What was once considered a frozen conflict zone has now become a live front in a broader geopolitical competition. Armenia’s pivot to the West, the construction of the Trump Road, and the introduction of NATO into the South Caucasus represent a seismic realignment that will not go unanswered by either Russia or Iran. Whether this leads to containment, confrontation, or a redrawing of regional alliances remains to be seen, but the stakes for all parties have never been higher.

Let's wait the Iranian response.
The west never stops its fantasy of world hegemony. Causing endless wars and suffering is not a concern for them, just power grabs. It’s disgusting how they act. They can never be trusted. Trust them and your country becomes one of their controlled vassals.
