Zimbabwe A Zombified Nation: Removing Mnangagwa Is Not Enough

The Rise of Fascism in Zimbabwe, Globalist Capture and the Illusion of Sovereignty

In the headline video is David Icke, banned in over 45 countries. Despite having studied Orwell's 1984 and read Confessions of an Economic Hitman, it wasn’t until I encountered the raw clarity of Caitlin Johnstone’s writings that I realised how deeply ignorant I truly was. Her work opened a gateway into a realm of hidden truths, leading me to voices like Santos Bonacci, Jordan Maxwell, and David Icke, figures who dismantle the illusion of the world we think we live in. It was through them that I began to see the real machinery behind global power, control, and manipulation, a system so intricately designed that most never even question it. This is the kind of knowledge African people desperately need, not just to understand why the continent remains trapped in dependency and despair, but to awaken to the full scale of the deception and reclaim the future on our own terms.

Zimbabwe, a nation born from the hard-fought struggle against colonialism, now finds itself under a new kind of control, one that’s harder to see but just as dangerous. What was once a symbol of African freedom has slowly turned into a testing ground for global agendas. Instead of bombs and soldiers, today’s control comes through foreign corporations, international organisations, and local elites who have sold out to serve outside interests. Zimbabwe is now full blown fascist state. It is not being ruled by obvious dictators, it’s being run by politicians and businessmen who quietly carry out the plans of powerful global players, corporate globalism masquerading as progress. While many believe that the struggles of yesteryear were for political liberation, the more critical and urgent battle today is for ideological and economic sovereignty. The Zimbabwean state, under the rule of President Emmerson Mnangagwa, has not only betrayed the legacy of the liberation war but has also surrendered the soul of the nation to these foreign technocrats and local oligarchs complicit in the erosion of sovereignty.

The definition of fascism often invokes images of military parades, nationalist propaganda, or jackbooted autocrats. However, as David Icke has argued in his public speeches, modern fascism is far more insidious and invisible. It is maintained not by brute force alone, but by psychological manipulation, economic dependency, and a compliant population stratified into three primary groups: the blindly obedient, the fearful silent, and the consciously resistant. It is this final group, those who dare to say “no”, that holds the key to ending tyranny. In the Zimbabwean context, however, the first two groups dominate public life, enabled by decades of educational indoctrination, media control, and religious co-optation.

Cde Blessed Geza’s revolutionary call to oust President Emmerson Mnangagwa must be understood in this context. Geza has pointed not only to corruption but to the ideological colonization of the state itself. His expulsion from ZANU-PF and subsequent persecution mirror the typical fate of whistleblowers in fascist systems. Zimbabwe’s political and economic infrastructure today operates under the illusion of sovereignty while being structurally beholden to the dictates of foreign entities such as the World Bank, IMF, and World Economic Forum. The influence of globalist technocracy is glaringly evident in the participation of Zimbabwean elites, Kuda Tagwireyi, Mthuli Ncube, Simbarashe Chinyemba, and others, in WEF-sponsored initiatives like the Great Reset and Agenda 2030, which openly advocate the dissolution of nation-states in favor of centralised global governance. Every citizen must and should know about the UN AGENDA 2030, “You Will Own Nothing And Be Happy”. Below is a video of Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, openly bragging about "penetrating" government cabinets around the world in a very sophisticated way. Zimbabwe is no exception. This was Schwab's unguarded moment at Harvard University revealing that WEF's 'Young Global Leaders' program isn't leadership training, it's a talent pipeline installing pre-screened and selected assets into governments worldwide.

Mthuli Ncube, the Finance Minister is an alumni and member of member of the WEF, so is Lindelwe Lesley Ndlovu, Vice Chairperson, Mutapa Investment Fund and Sakunda Holdings is a partner of this organization. So the WEF is at the heart of Zimbabwe's finance, economy and resources. Guess whose PhD thesis was about land reform? Simbarashe Moyo, from WEF young global leaders program, his thesis title, “A Failed Land Reform Strategy in Zimbabwe: The Willing Buyer, Willing Seller. Are you surprised Mnangwagwa reversed the land reform programme? Look at the background of Simbarashe Chinyemba, former CEO of Kuvimba Mining House (KMH),now Chief Investment Officer of Mutapa Investment Fund. George Guvamatanga was CEO of a globalist institution with a very dark history on humanity, Barclays Bank. Every puppet African government has these groomed sell-outs holding the highest of offices. Go on the WEF's website and see who from your country or goverment is or has been through this corrupt pipeline.

This elite alignment has led to the systemic erosion of Zimbabwe’s sovereignty. The country’s economic framework is now entirely beholden to neoliberal orthodoxies imposed by foreign capital. The $3.5 billion compensation agreement to dispossessed white farmers, despite their historical role in land seizure, was not merely a conciliatory gesture; it was a symbolic act of subservience to Western financial interests. Zimbabwe's economy, which should be focused on land and resource self-determination, has instead morphed into a rentier system controlled by a handful of oligarchs like Tagwireyi and his Sakunda Holdings empire. These individuals not only siphon wealth but act as intermediaries between global capital and the state, effectively auctioning Zimbabwe’s resources to the highest bidder. I certainly got spooked after Rutendo Matinyarare started glorifying M23 rebels, a globalist funded group, and all about colonialists controlling Congo's resources. He then tweeted support for Kuda Tagwireyi for President, then Sakunda Holdings for being the only partner of WEF in Zimbabwe. He has been promoting Scott Sakupwanya of the “gold mafia”; he has also previously marketed Kuvimba House and Mutapa Investment Fund (MIF) . Do you see the picture here, whether its M23 rebels or MIF, its about mineral and resource control. I am not an investigative journalist, but if any do read my article, stop wasting energy on Victoria Falls road or pot holes, dig into WEF and globalist capture of Zimbabwe, effectively a backdoor recolonisation. The country has been handed back to the colonialists.

At the core of this neocolonial New World Order project is the use of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) metrics, hallmarks of the WEF's Great Reset, as tools for surveillance and control. Far from being benign or progressive, these frameworks serve to institutionalize ideological conformity and suppress dissent, camouflaged under the banner of sustainability and social justice. In practice, they erode cultural identity, neuter national policy, and create a climate of self-censorship and technocratic paternalism.

The psychological conquest of the Zimbabwean populace has also been disturbingly effective. After decades of what some describe as the "Western stability doctrine," Zimbabweans have become pacified, unable to reignite the spirit of the liberation war. Religion, once a site of resistance, has been commandeered by corrupt clerics like those in the sphere of Wicknell Chivayo, who now uses wealth to capture congregations and link faith to political fealty. Meanwhile, media narratives are tightly controlled, reducing public discourse to recycled propaganda and celebrity distractions.

This zombification of the national consciousness explains the apathetic reaction to voices like Cde Blessed Geza. Though his criticisms are valid and his warnings prophetic, the majority of Zimbabweans, over 80%, are unable or unwilling to resist. As Icke notes, every tyranny in history is enabled not by the fascists alone, but by the acquiescence of the people. Only 3% to 3.5% of the population is ever truly awake at any given time, capable of seeing beyond the fog of indoctrination. An additional 10% may sit on the fence, unsure but hesitant. These numbers are crucial, because every successful revolution in history has been sparked by such a minority.

There is hope, and it can be found in examples like Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger, where military leaders with ideological clarity have overthrown puppet regimes and begun dismantling the colonial matrix of control. These nations have taken steps to de-dollarise or de-francenise, sever ties with French neocolonial institutions, and reclaim their right to self-determination. Their success lies in their leaders’ understanding of how the global empire functions, not just militarily, but psychologically, economically, and spiritually. They have begun the difficult task of reprogramming their people, rebuilding national pride, and exposing the mechanisms of foreign manipulation.

Zimbabwe must follow this path or face a future of total subjugation. The technocratic prison being constructed under the guise of development, biometric ID systems, digital currencies, smart cities, AI surveillance, is not liberation, but enslavement. The WEF’s promise that “you will own nothing and be happy” is not a prediction; it is a plan. Unless Zimbabweans awaken en masse, unless the 3% become 10%, and the 10% become 30%, the country will become a vassal state in a digital empire controlled by faceless elites who view Africa not as a continent of people, but as a resource pool for exploitation and experimentation.

Zimbabwe’s future will be decided not in the next election, but in the minds of its people. They must choose between passive compliance and conscious resistance. Between digital slavery and true liberation. Between serving global masters or reclaiming the dreams of Mbuya Nehanda and Josiah Tongogara. The time to act is now. For as Icke warns, fascism does not come with a warning, it arrives with applause.

I leave you with a gallery of rogues, sell-outs. If you ever wondered why the slave trade was so successful, Africans have been plagued by sell-outs amongst them.
