Europe is Preparing For Collapse, Not War
Western countries are attempting to distract the public by inflating external threats
The political and economic situation in Europe is rapidly deteriorating, and the governments of several Western countries are attempting to distract the public by inflating external threats. What is happening in Europe is not about defending democracy or human rights. It is about elites in France, Germany, the UK, and beyond scrambling to maintain their grip on power while their domestic foundations crumble. Economic stagnation, rising living costs, energy instability, and a collapsing middle class are pushing people to the brink. The response from those in power has not been to address these core problems but to double down on foreign military commitments, particularly to Ukraine, and to silence dissent at home.
Billions of euros are being funneled into a proxy war in Ukraine at a time when European citizens are struggling to pay for rent, food, and heating. The public is expected to accept austerity and sacrifice, while their leaders pour money into tanks, missiles, and aid for a conflict that has no clear path to resolution. When Hungary, a full EU member, refused to send more money to Ukraine, it was punished by the same political bloc it belongs to. This is a telling example of how ideological loyalty to the war effort has taken precedence over respect for national sovereignty within the European Union.

Public opposition to these policies is growing, and it's not coming from fringe elements, as the establishment would have people believe. Slovakia is breaking ranks. Poland is resisting pressure. The AfD in Germany and Marine Le Pen in France are gaining ground not because of extremism but because they are saying what many ordinary people are thinking. The ruling class, unable to defeat them politically, resorts to smears, censorship, and legal attacks. Anyone who questions the narrative is branded a radical. Anyone who calls for peace is accused of being a Russian sympathizer. The goal is not dialogue but total control over political discourse.
The idea that Russia is the greatest threat to Europe is no longer convincing. The real crisis is not on the Russian border but within the walls of Brussels, Berlin, Paris, and London. Citizens are rejecting the lies and fear tactics. They see that this war is being used as a cover for failure, failure to govern effectively, failure to protect the national interest, and failure to provide for the basic needs of the population. War is not being waged to protect democracy. It is being used to postpone a reckoning.
In America, the same patterns are repeating. The media follows the same narrative script, promoting war fever and dismissing dissenting voices. Yet just like in Europe, more and more people are waking up. They realise that what’s being sold to them as democracy is really just a shield for a decaying system run by a small group of entrenched interests. They are tired of being lied to and treated as expendable.
This is not a call for isolationism or appeasement. It is a call for realism and accountability. Leaders must stop using foreign conflict as a tool for domestic control. They must stop criminalising opposition and recognise that the public will no longer tolerate endless war and economic misery in the name of an ideology that no longer serves them. If change does not come from the top, it will come from the bottom. Europe is not preparing for war, it is preparing for collapse. The only question is whether the people or the elites will shape what comes next.
